I was commissioned by the Adult Literacy Program in Canon City to design and
produce a 24-page booklet for advertising sponsors and affiliates for the
annual Belvedere Blues Festival. The booklet advertised local businesses and
addressed last year’s event. The front and back cover and the inside double spread were in full
color while the other pages were black and white.
I was commissioned by San Luis Valley Health Systems to do a 36-page booklet to
display and advertise the upcoming auction at the Annual Charity Ball to raise
money for La Puente of the San Luis Valley. The ten bears were created by local
artists and auctioned at the Charity Ball. I also did the postcard,
invitations. a bear outline for embossment and photographed the bears for the
booklet.
I worked for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Luis Valley for almost three years. I was the Art
Director and in-house artist. During this time I managed the quarterly
newletter and other booklets and posters for benefits and club events.
!972 Class Reunion in Buena Vista in July of 2007 was a blast. I designed the
booklet and a T-shirt.
