I was commissioned by Suzanne Phipps and Fremont Center for the Arts, where I
was Cutural Arts Director, to layout the tabloid that announced the Arts for the Parks National Art Exhibit that visited Canon City in 2001. I designed the front and back cover and the
inside double spread for the tabloid. It was quite an accomplishment for FCA to
be put on the exhibit schedule for Arts in the Parks National Art Exhibit.
While working for the Daily Record in Canon City, I designed the covers and layouts for several tabloids. This
eight-page tabloid was a tribute to the firemen in our surrounding area. The
photos are property of the Daily Record.
I also designed the logo/masthead and subheadings for the Record which they used
for about three years before they designed another one.
